Breaking Bad (BB) is a hit USA TV series (five series) that is about a high school chemistry teacher (Walter White) who is forced to give up teaching for health reasons (cancer). He starts to 'cook up' crystal meth to pay for the medical treatment and to provide for his family. Walt decends into the dangerous and violent world of the drugs scene.

'Breaking Bad' is American slang for falling into bad ways and bad company. BB is a great series with very good actors and has a clever black humour theme running through the programmes. There is some chemistry in the programmes (a lot for 'Hollywood' any way). I have written about this in four articles for the RSC and also a longish article for the BBC web site - see links above.
