Simple Drill jig to help accurately drill & locate hole

In one experiment I have been making I needed to make up my own wide spaced capacitor (see link below) from a number of meshed (but not touching) metal vanes or sheets.
I made this little tool to ensure that a hole could be accurately drilled at the end of each vane and repeated accurately on all the vanes.
In use you simply slot a vanes into the jig (see photos) and then drill through the side hole. The jig guides the drill so it cuts into the same place on each vane.
