HOLLYWOOD SCIENCE - Series I

dante peek Shanghai Noon shanghai pee

An Open University / BBC2 production of six 10 min programmes exploring the science behind some of Hollywood's classic films.
Robert Llewellyn and Jonathan Hare look at Shanghai Noon, Dante's Peak, Cool Hand Luke, Ice Cold in Alex, Speed and Die Hard.
Could someone really eat 50 hard boiled eggs in one hour and could a multi-ton bus jump the 50 foot gap in a bridge in the action movie Speed ?!
In Hollywood Science we create experiments to answer the million dollar question - "could they really have done that ?"
